    CdS/Cu2O pn junction thin films are prepared by chemical bath deposition (CBD) method. The heterojunction solar cells are assembled and the photoelectric properties are measured. The effect of thickness of window and absorbing layers on the solar cells efficiency is explored by altering the thickness of CdS/Cu2O films. Experimental results indicate that the CdS film with a thickness of 400 nm deposited by Cu2O film for 30 times have a high photoelectric conversion efficiency η(0.05%), and the fill factor is up to 0.42. Moreover, it is found that limit the thickness of window layer CdS is facility of photo transmittance, while increase the thickness of absorption layers Cu2O is benefit to improve the adsorption of transmitted light, introducing more photocarrier and improving the photoelectric conversion efficiency.
