Research on the Crystallization Behavior of Polyvinyl Chloride by Differential Scanning CalorimetryLIU Ya-qun1,ZHANG Chao-can2 (1.Department of Applied Chemistry,School of Science,Wuhan University of Technology,Wuhan 430070,China;2.School of Materials Science and Engineering,Wuhan University of Technology,Wuhan 430070,China)In this paper,the influences of the mould pressing,annealing treatment and the content of acetanilide on the crystallization behavior of PVC were researched by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC).The analysis results indicated that there are three or four endotherm peaks on PVC melting curves.The endotherm peak B was caused by the melting of chain-folded crystal,and the peak A was the melting peak of the micelle crystal.They developed in different form and under different condition.When the entropy of conformation of PVC chains was low,the growth of micelle crystal was benefited,while the entropy of conformation of PVC chains increased;the development of chain-folded crystal was advanced. Melting peak C was caused by intermediate order phase,and it appeared in annealing process.Being annealed above Tg could raise the crystallinity and the perfection of PVC crystal.polyvinyl chloride;differential scanning calorimetry;crystallization behavior
