Prediction and Compensation Arithmetic About Time-delay SystemsGUO Wei,LIU Zhe (School of Information and Control,Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology,Nanjing 210044,China)Time-delay problem was hard to be avoided in many occasions of industrial process control and network transportation.It was a severe disadvantage for control performance especially in input aslant systems.Using the idea of prediction,this problem was analyzed in the method of Dynamic Matrix Control(DMC),and the arithmetic of Time-delay Compensation DMC(TDCDMC) was introduced.According to the prediction control signals,the delay control signals were modulated via the compensation variable and the transition variable to make the system output trace the aslant input rapidly.The instance results showed that the delay was well compensated,the stability and the speediness were guaranteed.time-delay system;DMC;delay compensation;TDCDMC
