Abstract

The Stress Intensity Factors of Finite Centrally Cracked Stiffened Plate Under Various Width and HeightJIANG Cui-xiang~1,LI Zhuo-qiu~1,LI Ke-qin~2(1.School of Sciences,Wuhan University of Technology,Wuhan 430070,China;2.School of Mechanical Engineering,Hubei University of Technology,Wuhan 430068,China)The stress intensity factors of a finite centrally cracked stiffened plate under various boundary conditions were studied.A discrete stiffened plate model was constructed for investigation.Based on the complex function method,and after considering the condition of compatibility of displacement between the cracked plate and the stiffener,the final solution was obtained.Case studies were presented to illustrate the influence of geometric parameters and material parameters on the stress intensity factor at the crack tip.The numerical results show that the stress intensity factors decrease considerably with the increasing of relative stiffness between the stiffener and the cracked plate when the height-width ratio of the structures increases.finite stiffened plate;crack;height-width ratio;stress intensity factor
