Abstract

Preparations and Properties of Organic-inorganic Nanopa rticles Hybrid Photorefractive MaterialWU Yi-wen, HUANG Jun, ZHAO Jun, TONG Xing-lin (Fiber Optic Sensing Technology Research Center, Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan 430070,China)Organic-inorganic nanoparticles hybrid photorefractive material has significant future prospect due to its promising characteristics. In this paper, it reporte d on the preparations and characterizations of a novel organic-inorganic nanopa rticles hybrid photorefractive material in which PVK served as a polymeric charg e-transporting matrix.DMNPAT with low T g was prepared to serve as nonline ar optical chromophores. In this material, CdS nanoparticles that were doped in the PVK by chemically hybridization served as a charge-generating agent to increase the photoconduct ivity and this kind of material will probably have good photorefractivity.photorefractivity; nonlinear optical chromophor e; organic-inorganic hybrid; photoconductivity
