Microstructure--Physics of Inorganic Materials Effective--Medium Appoximation and Percolation Theory Nan CewenThis paper deduces a unified microstructure-physical model from theview of microstructure using similar to scattering theory in quantum phy-sics, which can be used to describe the changing rule of statistical homog-eneous heterogeneous inorganic materials features. A better appoximationi·e an improved effective-medium appoximation (IEMA) for the difficultevaluation and exact model has been obtained, and can well be used todescribe effective feature parameter k. Moreover, percolation theoryhas been diseussed in changing of materials features in terms of scaling offeature and gecmetry. Percolation theery can also be well used to descri-be the materials feature near critical point. The combination of IEMA andpercolation theory for describing the quantitation relation between micros-tructure and property of inorganic materials is important.
