Abstract

The Study of the Interface Composite Material——Part Ⅱ: Comparison of the Theory of Prism-Film Coupling with Ellipsometry and Its Possibility Used for the Study of Polymeric Material Zhang YuanminThe prism-film coupling (PFC) technic which was developed during rec- ent 16 years have used to test the inorganic films, organic films and polymer films. It is possible to use this method for the study of the interface of comp- osite material. Owing to this purpose, in this paper we discussed the modes of propagating waves in a air/material film/substrate system, derived the eq- uations and analyzed the theory of PFC, discussed some problems for the prac- tical measurement, introduced the conception of polymer structure. Goos-Ha- nchen displacement, and Compared the PFC with Ellipsometry.
