Impacts of Defoaming Agents on a Modified SiC Slurry Slip Casting Process Performance

The impacts of three different defoaming agents on stability and rheology of a modified SiC slurry were investigated and the relations in surface tension and defoaming effect of defoaming agents and density of green body were researched.The results showed that the impacts of defoaming agents on stability of slurry were not great.With amount of nonion/anion compounded defoaming agent increasing,slurry was changed into pseudo-plastic fluid from dilatants fluid,and at 0.1%amount viscidity of slurry was lowest ...
