The Seperation of Lithium and Manganese in LiMn_2O_4 by Twice Oxidation-precipitation Peng Shantang Lei Jiaheng Chen Yongxi Zhao Jun Lect.,Department of Applied Chemistry, WUT, Wuhan 430070, China.Using (NH 4) 2S 2O 8 as oxidant, lithium and manganese were seperated by twice oxidation precipitation. Li 2CO 3 and MnO 2 got is in purity of 98.02% and 99.88%, respectively. And the recover of Li and Mn is 88.95% and 96.08% correspondingly. The optimum conditions of reaction are obtained at pH 9~12 and the system was boiling for 10 min.
